Part 5 : The American Empire
This series asks the question, is America becoming or in danger of becoming an authoritarian state under the Presidency of Donald Trump? In Parts 1 - 4 I compared the various forms of authoritarian government, analysed the behaviour of the current administration and highlighted many of the key actions and statements of both the president and his key officials that indicate that, at the very least, the current US administration is displaying many of the key characteristics of an authoritarian regime.
In part 4 I examined evidence that Trump's leadership style displayed many of the warning signs of a fascist government and described the concepts of Trumpism and Muskoligarchy specifically.
I provided data that suggests that, rather than being a narcissist, as many have claimed, Trump is in fact a solipsist and believes that his opinion is the only one that matters.
Part 4 concluded by asking whether Trump may have personal, financial and influential reasons for taking on the mega corporations that form the military industrial complex.
Since part 4 was published, the predicted rift between Trump and Musk has happened!
In parts 5 and 6 I will look at the concept and history of the Empire, from the early Akkadian to the Holy Roman and various European dynasties. I will follow the trail that links the 3rd Reich to the military industrial complex and the emergence of a new world order with its roots firmly anchored in the banking system. A system rooted in the desire to establish the superiority of The West.
A system responsible for the rise of Zionism and the creation of the modern state of Israel as a launch pad for ‘western‘ dominance in the middle east. I will examine the weaponisation of anti-semitism as a tool to attack anyone who questions the actions of the Israeli government as well as the role of mainstream media in directing public opinion by their failure to report on certain events whilst declaring outrage at others.
Finally I will examine the current administration’s motivation behind Trump’s stated objective of taking control of the US back from the mega corporations whose wealth enables them to wield true power from the shadows and I will show how a tiny group of global elite have established the latest Empire as a digital, authoritarian, corporate state based in the US, whose authority global reach is enforced by corporate para-military mercenaries!
As I witnessed in Egypt.
This deep state, so secretive that sitting presidents are not all ‘read in’ to their activities and that operates illegally, without senate overview, effectively wielding the real power within the New World Order.
The American Empire.
The First Empire
The Akkadian Empire is considered by mainstream academia to be the first.
It was established in Mesopotamia around 2334 BCE by Sargon of Akkad. The Akkadian Empire united the city-states of Sumer and expanded its influence across Mesopotamia and beyond.
At its peak, the Akkadian Empire encompassed much of Mesopotamia, parts of modern-day Syria and Anatolia, and even extended its reach to the Arabian Peninsula.
The Akkadian Empire's influence, though, extended beyond its borders and impacted the development of art, writing, and administration in the region. Its legacy can be seen in later Mesopotamian empires, such as the Assyrian and Babylonian empires, which adopted many of its administrative and cultural practices.
The die was cast.
The blueprint for world domination was created.
The History of Global Empires
Early empires.
Roman Empire (27 BC - 476 AD):
Arguably the most well known of global empires, Rome dominated the Mediterranean world, Europe and North Africa and added its legal system and engineering to the Empire blueprint. Possibly its greatest legacy is its military prowess and organisation upon which most modern militaries are based. Rome’s reach never extended to the Americas.
Islamic Empires (various dates):
Although not a truly geographic empire, the various Islamic empires which at one point Included the Umayyad, Abbasid, and Ottoman Caliphates, spread Islamic culture and knowledge globally. Including art, music and crucially, Mathematics.
Empires of the Modern Period:
Mongol Empire (1206-1368):
One of the largest contiguous land empires in history, connecting East and West, the Mongol empire is unsurpassed in terms of size. At its height the Mongols controlled 17% of the world’s land mass and a quarter of the global population.
Spanish Empire (1492-1976):
One of the first global empires, establishing colonies in the Americas, Africa, Asia, and Europe.
Portuguese Empire (1415-1999):
Another early global empire, known for its maritime exploration and trade routes.
French Empire (1534-1962):
Colonised parts of North America, Africa, and Southeast Asia.
British Empire (1603-1997):
The largest empire in history, with colonies across the globe, influencing language, law, and culture worldwide. The British refined the mechanisms of empire and although all European empires exhibited tremendous brutality, it was the British empire that first deployed tactics like scorched earth, concentration camps and the use of military intelligence on a truly industrial scale. The importance of naval dominance is possibly the greatest legacy of The Empire.
A battlefield advantage that now extends to the need to control air space.
Russian Empire (1721-1917):
Spanning across Europe and Asia, it played a significant role in European affairs and although it never achieved naval superiority, the Russian empire covered a huge land mass extending from Asia to North America.
The Holy Roman Empire (806-1806):
The Holy Roman Empire was a complex political body that existed from 800 to 1806 in Central and Western Europe. It was a multi-ethnic territory, often described as a realm of numerous states, principalities, free cities, and other entities, all nominally under the rule of an emperor. Despite its name, it was neither consistently holy, Roman, nor a unified empire in the modern sense.
The Empire's roots trace back to Charlemagne's coronation as Roman Emperor by Pope Leo III on Christmas Day in 800 AD, reviving the title in Western Europe. This marked a symbolic continuation of the Western Roman Empire, though the Eastern Roman Empire (Byzantine Empire) still existed. The Empire evolved from the Frankish Empire and later included various kingdoms, duchies, and other territories. While the emperor was elected by powerful princes and magistrates, the Empire's structure was decentralised, with many entities retaining significant autonomy.
The Empire played a significant role in European history, influencing the political landscape of Central Europe and beyond for centuries.
In essence, the Holy Roman Empire was a unique and enduring political experiment in European history, characterised by its complex structure, evolving identity, and eventual dissolution after a long and influential existence.
The reason I focussed a little more on the Holy Roman Empire is crucial to understanding the path I will trace from the Empire that isn't really an Empire and the most effective way for me to illuminate the path is to do a bit of word replacement.
Let’s have a look at what emerges when we modernise the above description on the HRE.
The American Empire was a complex political body that began in 1913 with the creation of the Federal reserve bank in North America. It is a multi-ethnic territory, described as a federation of numerous states, all nominally under the rule of a President. Despite its name, it is far from united. With the 2 party political system designed to ensure friction.
The Empire's roots trace back to its birth in 1610 with the start of the genocide of the indigenous population.
The Empire expanded through the aggressive capture of Texas, Florida and the American South West. Alaska was purchased from Russia in 1867. This marked a symbolic continuation of the expansion of Americanism, although the HRE still existed.
The Empire has evolved since the domination of the global banking system and now incorporates the most sophisticated intelligence network ever seen.
While the president is elected by the public, their longevity depends on powerful corporations and judges. The US’s structure is decentralized, with many entities retaining significant autonomy.
The Empire is playing a significant role in European and world history, influencing the political landscape of Central Europe and beyond.
In essence, the American Empire is designed to be a unique and enduring political experiment in World history, characterized by its complex structure, evolving constitution, state surveillance and reliance on military dominance.
I hardly had to change a word!
Now I don't for one second suggest that the Founding Fathers envisaged that the US would become the most prolific instrument of regime change the planet has ever known. The latest figure is 64 governments actively or subversively changed by the US / CIA. Often the new government is also replaced within a decade or two!
Nor could they have foreseen the US’s current role as global war monger, having been the instigator in numerous global conflicts.
In the same way I do not suggest that every president has been aware of America's role in global regime changes. It's a matter of record that the CIA operates so-called black ops, even though they are beyond senate scrutiny and therefore, illegal.
Indeed the motives of the true emperors of this new empire, this New World Order, could not be further removed than those of George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, Benjamin Franklin, and John Jay. These men were instrumental in drafting the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation, and the U.S. Constitution.
Lets face it, no president is going to be in the Oval Office for a decade even. Why share the most classified information with a temporary employee? Especially when they may just have a conscience!
So who then? Who or what is the real Emperor?
The answer to this question comes from the 34th US President, Dwight D Eisenhower who, in his 1961 farewell address warned;
“In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist”.
If you are unaware of the military industrial complex (MIC), part 3 of my published series Getting away with murder will fill in the blanks for you!
The moment you accept that, behind the veneer of the oval office, there exists a deep state, a counter intelligence system on steroids, devoid of morality the desperate state of the world makes a lot more sense.
Here’s a sobering fact.
Since the UN was established to prevent global conflicts, the world had seen 478 wars by 2021!
A new war starts, on average, every 2 months.
The Geneva declaration on armed violence and development estimates that since the UN was established in 1948, five hundred and twenty six million people have died in armed conflicts. This does not include famine and disease related deaths caused by conflict which are estimated to be at least as many deaths again!
That means that at least one billion people have died as a result of conflict since the UN was established to prevent conflict.
Is it just me or has the UN failed entirely in its purpose?
Having served in the South African army and seen UN peacekeepers in Namibia deployed without weapons, I’m not surprised!
Perpetual war is very useful when you are seeking to destabilise your enemy and extend your influence.
Perpetual war is a key objective of the MIC, of the American Empire.
Perpetual war is what we have.
The great driver of the UN was US president Hoover, the man who also launched the new deal to help America's manufacturers and unemployed workers. Especially in industries related to the military. You could say, the military industrial complex.
Whilst historians and economists differ on the success of the New Deal, what often goes unreported is the fact that, as part of Roosevelt’s package of reforms, 45 new state departments were created!
Big government was born.
In the same way, much is made of the additional protection provided to customers of banks, as a result of Roosevelt’s reforms.
Again, less often mentioned is the fact that the Emergency Banking Act of 1933 made it possible for the government to use tax payer’s money to bail out banks and allowed the Federal Reserve to issue emergency currency.
Quantitative easing and its associated higher prices via inflation was born
The Securities Act of 1933 and Securities and Exchange Act of 1934 while not solely focused on banking, regulated the securities markets and created the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Although its stated purpose was to oversee financial markets and protect investors, the SEC is entirely free from government oversight. As sole regulator of the financial markets, the SEC has been allowed multiple consumer protections to be removed whilst missing numerous financial scandals.
Control of global financial markets was guaranteed.
In Part 3 of Getting away with murder, I examine the US based companies that enjoyed huge profits from their investments in German heavy industries in the lead up to WWII.
In 1950 the biggest US companies were Exxon, General Electric, General Motors, AT&T and Du Pont.
Banker JP Morgan was a key financier of General Electric, General Motors, AT&T and provided multi billion dollar lines of credit for DuPont and Exxon.
Those of you familiar with my work will recognise the names BlackRock, Vanguard and State Street and won’t be surprised to learn that these 3 mega-corps control all 5 companies today.
The Military Industrial Complex was born.
The American Empire was born! The New World order is here. It's been here for decades.
When you realise that the US government, far from being in control of the empire, is a part of this empire, everything else is less shocking.
Let’s take stock.
We know the history of Empire, we have seen how the MIC was born in the early banking and financial reforms of the new deal and we have briefly looked at the US corporations that have benefitted the most from global conflict.
Now I will take us on a journey that begins with the Third Reich, visits the involvement of the Vatican, analyses the success of the MIC in supplanting the machinery of state and ultimately examines the role played by shadowy figures within the MIC in the creation of the current day state of Israel and asks the simple question, why?
Finally we will return to the Trump administration and ask, ‘is he really a man of the people?
